Hi, Barry! Once again, I just wanted to say thank you so so so much! We had so many compliments about the band, you guys were so awesome! Infinite thanks to all of you! When we get back from our honeymoon and we see our pictures we will be sure to pass some along to you if we have any of the band! Thanks so much!! Without you it would have been a pleasant affair; with you it was FUN! I have heard from dozens of guests that it was the most fun wedding they have been to and they all mentioned HotRod as the best part of the wedding! My wife and I decided to get married in August of 2008. This was a second marriage for both of us. Being as we are a little older we decided we did not have to have a flock of white doves released to celebrate the event. We decided that we would have OUR ceremony and that was one that would include our friends and family and a good time. We started our event with a lawn wedding in High Falls. The reception was set up across the street in a barn renovated for occasions. We had both heard HotRod at various times and decided to have them play. Admittedly a few people looked at us a little funny when we first mentioned this idea. This doubt quickly changed as the first chords came from the band. The music was great and the band was on. We had guest from 3 to 93 and they were all on their feet. I am unsure how long they played but with the enthusiasm of the crowd it certainly was more than we paid for. Everyone had a great time and wants us to do it again, maybe for our 5th anniversary. All I can say is this if you have a guest who does not like the idea of these guys playing make a choice—have HotRod and invite someone else. Rock on guys. My wife and I first heard Hotrod at a street fair. We are both musicians and appreciate the high caliber of musicianship the group possesses. It didn’t take us long to decide that when we got married, Hotrod would be THE band for our wedding reception. Members of the group kept in close contact with us in the days prior to our wedding. They asked us what specific numbers we wanted to hear. Unbeknownst to us, members of our family also spoke with them about singing songs at our reception. I too arranged to sing The Wonder of You to my wife at our reception. Hotrod was flexible and professional during the entire event. I have never seen so many people dancing at a wedding reception. They literally had EVERYONE on their feet. I’ve had the privilege of working with Hotrod on several occasions producing concerts. I coined the phrase “The Hudson Valley’s Premier Rock and Roll Band,” and I mean that sincerely. They are the best around! Keith Edwards HotRod is a fantastic band!!! As soon as we went to the hall and picked our wedding date I called you as soon as I got home. I didn't waste any time. You guys are awesome! To this day we still hear how great our band was. We couldn't have made a better choice! Thanks for making our wedding even more special! Keep on rocking! Kelly Ann I don't know if I can sum up how terrific it was to have HOTROD playing at our wedding, but I'll give it my best shot. What a day we had, it was 95 degrees on our wedding day and the limo didn't show to pick me up and bring me to the church. My Father drove us there in my 10 year old Honda Accord that had a broken air conditioner! I thought the day would be a disaster. We originally saw you play at a block party and thought you were great...that is when we knew we HAD to have you play at our wedding. I wasn't sure how it would work out with a band because I was worried about the breaks so we hired a DJ to play during your breaks. What a waste of money that was. Remember, everybody was having such a blast you guys kept playing and playing...boy, it was great!
I can sum it up like this. From the minute you guys started playing the crowd was wild. I must admit, I didn't think it was that out of control with dancing until I watched the video. Relatives that I have never seen leave their seats at my cousins weddings didn't sit still; they were all dancing and having a great time. The music was terrific, one fantastic song after another. Without a doubt, I would love to take the credit for a great wedding due to all my articulate planning, but I can't...it was all because of HOTROD. Even now after a few years, at family gatherings, people still talk about how tremendous the band was at my wedding. The day of my wedding, I still remember walking around and thanking people for attending and all I heard was "Wow, great band" and "Hey, where did you find them? They're terrific"! And you know Barry, you guys are terrific; the greatest. HOTROD truly was the reason my big day was a success. I am so happy you played at my wedding.
